چکیده

Salt and alkaline stress is one of the important problems restricting agricultural production afforestation projects. This kind will greatly limit growth development forest trees. Recently, melatonin has been gradually realized as a strong antioxidant due to its regulatory protective roles in process plant development. study takes Xin Lin 1 (Populus cathayana × canadansis ‘Xin 1’) research object, measures changes physiological indexes at different time points verify alleviation effect under salt stress. In this experiment, plants have behaviors face levels exogenous melatonin. Among them, low concentrations (50 μM 100 μM) were more helpful reduce MDA osmotic regulators leaves. At level, SOD CAT content leaves increased significantly. Melatonin 800 was inclined induce POD, but activity not significantly induced. Overall, contributes secretion ABA tendency inhibit SA. It worth mentioning that treatment conducive IAA. To sum up, experiment proves dose alleviating

Effect of exogenous application of ascorbic acid on physiological and biochemical characteristics of wheat under water stress

Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is widely cultivated in the Mediterranean zone where plantsgenerally suffer from water stress during heading and reproductive stages. This research wascarried out at the experimental farm of the faculty of agriculture, Kafrelsheikh University usingtwo water treatments (water stress and well-watered), four N levels (0, 80, 160 and 240 kg ha-1)and two ascorbic acid le...

Effect of Melatonin Premedication on Some Physiological Parameters and Reduction of Oxidative Stress in Tagetes etecta Seedlings under Salt Stress

Salinity is one of the most important environmental stresses which affect the growth of plants. Most of the plants are sensitive to salt stress at the seedling stage, so the growth of them in salt-water accompanies with problems. Various agronomic and physiological practices (treatments) are applied to minimize the adverse effects of salinity on plant growth and using of plant growth regulator ...

Effects of magnetic fields on some physiological factors and antioxidant capacity of Silibum marianum L. seedlings under salt stress

Salinity is one of the most important abiotic stresses that have restricted affects on plant growth and yield. Magnetic field can ameliorate the negative effect of salinity with induction of plant antioxidant activity. In present research, the effect of static magnetic fields (0 anf 4 mT) on some physiological parameters and antioxidative capacity were investigated under salinity stress at conc...
